Things to Skip in November…

November is filled with amazing deals, but not everything is worth buying this month since not all categories will be at their deepest discount.

Winter Clothing

Winter is fast approaching, and retailers are gearing up for the cold months by releasing winter apparel early – usually at full price. There might be a few good deals, but you’ll see better discounts on a wider variety if you wait to shop until January or later. So, skip winter clothing in November but buy them in the new year.

Christmas Decor

Christmas decorations now are more expensive when they first hit shelves than when they’re on their way out the door. Consider hold off until near Christmas, or even after.

Gift Cards

Since Black Friday is coming soon, Christmas is not far away. There will be some good gift card deals this month, but December will bring much more. It’s best to stock up then. So, skip gift cards in November but buy them in early December.

Jewelry

Retailers are already gearing up for the Christmas sale with Christmas-themed bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces. However, we tend to see more and better deals during the month of December, before the gift-giving holidays wrap up. So, don’t buy jewelry this month but wait until next month.

Exercise Equipment

The new year is just around the corner. We can expect to see better deals on fitness equipment of all types in January than in November or December when everyone is focused on resolutions for the new year. So, skip exercise equipment this month but wait until January.
